Training Synopsis
Training is very important for both the safety of the rescuer and the person being rescued. When OMTRS is activated, you can be sure that qualified rescue technicians are responding. On the rock, real life rescue simulations are held twice a month and special trainings are held as determined by the training coordinator. Basic and Advanced skills training is given on an "as needed basis" so that all members can function as a Professional Rescue Team.
All training falls within the New Mexico State SAR Technical Guide
